Newsreport.my.id – Our newest recipe for those of you who want to cook today. Cooking this time is very easy for you to cook at home and the availability of ingredients.Perfect breakfast hash served with some runny eggs on the side and avocado. Enjoy! Ingredients: 2 lbs of Ground lamb (always shoot for grass-fed!) or you can use beef, pork etc… a mix of lamb and beef can be used if you are not a fan of the slightly gamey taste of lamb 2 large peeled sweet potatoes (I used this Paderno Noodle Maker and placed the straight blade for ribbon cuts. It took me less than 5 min!) 1 large sliced or cubed poblano pepper 1 serrano pepper (this will make the hash even spicier 2 chopped sweet onions 4-6 cloves of garlic bacon fat to fry or grass-fed butter sea salt and pepper to taste Directions: Pre heat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Add the ground lamb to a cast iron skillet (previously heated). I used left over bacon fat. Sautee the meat until medium rare and then toss in the onions , garlic and peppers. Fry until the onions are soft. In a separate skillet or cast iron fry the sweet potatoes and when cooked mix in with the lamb, onions and peppers. Transfer the cast iron with all ingredients to the oven and let it brown for about 10 minutes. Serve warm with your favorite salsa on top, some fresh avocado on the side and eggs. This is an excellent dish for babies, toddlers and kids. The sweet taste of the sweet potatoes and the lamb go really well together 🙂 just take the peppers out for baby and/or if your kids don’t eat spicy foods. Bon appetite!
